if they're going to hang out here and try to get some - normal sleep in a normal(ish) bed, he might as well make the most of it, right? it only makes sense try and be as comfortable as possible, and if he were back home, for real, in his own bed, he wouldn't be sleeping (or attempting to sleep) in a shirt.
