[ evan loses his temper every day - usually not this badly, but this level of violence isn't uncommon for him. it's why his own people give him a wide berth. why they avoid making comments while he's anywhere near earshot, when otherwise they might try to make sure he overhears.

but with everything he has to deal with right now, beating someone to death is the only way he can feel even a little bit better, and he wasn't going to let this one get away anyway.
